The Audi Q7 is a large SUV with various innovative options such as active roll stabilization, four-wheel steering, air suspension, HD matrix headlights, large touchscreens and powertrains with a mild-hybrid technology at 48 volts. The e-tron technology makes it possible to continue driving with considerably less fuel. The charge timer indicates when the car needs power to be fully charged for the journey on time. Because it is a hybrid system, the effective action radius is around 50 kilometers, the rest goes via the traditional combustion engine. The 2016 version was in production until 2018, in 2019 a new version of the Q7 appeared.

Audi Q7 charging cables
The Audi Q7 charging cable must have a Mennekes connection or a charging cable with Type 2 plug. The charger that is present in the car can charge on the basis of phase 2 with a maximum of 16 Amps (two times 3.7 kW, so 7.4 kW total). Although the car charges on 2-phase, it is possible to use a 3-phase Audi Q7 charging cable if the number of Amps matches. View the product range in the Cable Soolutions Shop.
Charging station for the Audi Q7
This e-tron is particularly suitable for short runs on electricity or for longer runs on diesel. With an Audi Q7 charging station, particular attention must be paid to the Type 2 connection on the charging station. This is the standard throughout Europe with which finding a suitable Audi Q7 charging point should not be a problem. Please note that the battery can only handle 2-phase 16A cabling.
