The second and last model of the Nissan Leaf has been out on the market since February 2018. The battery capacity of this newer model is 40 kW and therefore has a range of 185 to 250 km. The range does, however, depend on the temperature and other weather conditions.
Furthermore, this new variant of the Leaf, unlike the model from before 2018, has a Mennekes connection and then this model 32Ampere charging on 1 phase. This allows you to charge 2 times faster than the older models with this model. So you need a cable with a Type 2 connection to charge this Nissan Leaf.
